Danni Harrison is a commercial photographer, lifelong learner and volunteer.  Danni is originally from Texas, USA but considers Myanmar to be her international home after spending the last 15 plus years working, traveling and living abroad in four different countries on three continents.  Danni has spent most of her career as a commercial photographer working overseas on both private and government-issued contracts.  In 2008, Danni prepared commercial photography on behalf of the newly-formed Myanmar Tourist Association for their participation in the ITB (Internationale Tourismus-Börse), the world's largest tourism trade fair.  Additionally, she worked for Air Mandalay as a photographer and travel contributor for their inflight magazine, The Golden Flight.  From 2005-2007, she co-taught elementary school at The International Education Center of Myanmar.    The lastest volunteer position Danni served was with the Yangon Chapter of Days for Girls.  

Danni graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pellissippi State in 2005 earning an Associate of Applied Science with an Emphasis in Photography and is currently enrolled at Boise State University in the Multi-Disciplinary Program and the IDEA Certificate Program. She is on target to complete a Bachelor’s of Arts in Multi-Disciplinary Studies as well as the Innovation and Design : Emerging Applications Certificate and will graduate from Boise State University in May 2022. Danni studied the Burmese language for 3 years with John Okell, Chairman of the Britain-Burma Society and also took two sessions of Arabic language classes while living in the middle east.
